NMVMA Membership: Staying Connected

NMVMA Community

Stay Connected Between Issues

The most valuable professional connection may be the one available when a question, challenge, or opportunity arises.

NMVMA’s publications help members stay informed, but the association’s professional network extends beyond any single issue of the Roadrunner.

The New Mexico Vet List gives members a direct way to exchange information with veterinary colleagues across the state. NMVMA’s event calendar helps teams find upcoming learning and community opportunities. The Career Center connects talent with employers, while member communications share professional news, legislative developments, resources, and time-sensitive alerts.

Members can make these resources more valuable by using them. Ask a thoughtful question. Share relevant information. Respond when a colleague needs perspective. Forward an event to a team member. Introduce a student to someone who can help. Submit a Member Spotlight or practice experience.

No one needs to participate in every program or conversation. The goal is to maintain a professional connection that is useful when you need it and strong enough to support the wider veterinary community.

Make sure you are connected for the 2026–27 membership year.
