New Online Career Center for NMVMA

Now Live | August 2026

NMVMA Launches a New Career Center: Local Connection. National Reach.

A stronger career platform for New Mexico’s veterinary community—connecting employers and job seekers to broader opportunity through the AVMA Veterinary Career Community.

The New Mexico Veterinary Medical Association (NMVMA) Career Center is now live, giving veterinary employers and job seekers a stronger way to connect in New Mexico and across a broader national veterinary career network.

Powered through the AVMA Veterinary Career Community (VCC), the Career Center expands visibility for veterinary openings while giving job seekers one trusted place to search opportunities, share resumes, create job alerts, and access career resources. When employers begin their posting through NMVMA, their recruiting investment also generates non-dues revenue that supports NMVMA’s broader workforce recruitment and retention work.

  1. Choose the right package. Match the posting duration and package to your hiring timeline and recruitment needs.
  2. Complete every field. Use a specific title and location, accurate categories and practice types, and a clear application path.
  3. Make the opportunity easy to evaluate. Include compensation, benefits, schedule and on-call expectations, practice focus, mentorship, continuing education, growth opportunities, and relocation support when offered.
  4. Show the real workplace and community. Add your logo and use candidate-centered language about the team, medicine, day-to-day experience, and the community where the role is based.
