The 2025 60-day legislative session was a fast-paced and consequential period for New Mexico—and for veterinary medicine in our state. With over 1,200 bills introduced and major statewide priorities in play, NMVMA continued its efforts to monitor legislation, advocate for the profession, and ensure our voice was heard.
